Foreclosure Assistance with GMAC
My wife and I are in a financial hardship at this point. Our Mortgage Company is with GMAC Mortgage. We have been working with their mitigation department since about September I believe. We fallen short due to opening our home to a family that needed a place to live. As a result there was hardly much assistance from the family living with us at the time and we supplied the necessities needed for everyone. However, in November my wife was laid off from work. She was working for a title company and due to the decrease it affected many within the title and many were laid off as a result of it. She has been on unemployment and has been looking for work and taking steps to try to open her own in home business. However, in working with the mitigation department we feel we have been bounced around. They set us up on making payments but now our payments have increased which just began this month of February and don’t have the means to pay. Were stuck and we don’t know where to go nor whom to get help from. We are a family of six with two teenagers and two younger children. We want to stay in our home. So, if anything can come from this we’d be so thankful. We are currently 3 months but as a result of not having the mortgage payment it will now be 4 months

was in and out of the hospital for breast cancer and my husband was by my side so when he doesn’t go to work he doesn’t get paid. Everything is now ok and were 11 months behind and I’m also now cllecting disability to help pay back. Gmac just won’t work with me.
